Colonial Pancake & Waffle House - Your Go-To Waffle Destination in Hot Springs National Park

A great little pancake House. Get here early as it gets busy. Even though it was busy the food came out quickly. The pancakes are delicious as expected. The wait staff is friendly. If you are in Williamsburg definitely check out this pancake house.

Took my family here while celebrating my 9 yr old granddaughter's bday. The place was packed on this Sunday Dec 14, 2025, but the wait for 8 was only about 30 min. The server (Danielle) kept us updated on the progress of our wait...which was really nice! The waitress was attentive and efficient (Cris) and the food was fabulous! I had the pecan pancakes and they were terrific and plentiful!

I stopped in for breakfast my first day in Williamsburg to have a stack of....pancakes. No surprise since it is a pancake house. My server was Delaney and she was friendly and attentive. I ordered the Banana Pancakes and they came out fast, fresh and delicious. I wasn't too hungry, so these pancakes weren't super filling and were the perfect size/amount. They have a decent sized menu with gluten free options and everything is reasonable priced. The restaurant is a good size to accommodate all group sizes. Overall, I had a good first time experience eating here and I will be sure to check them out again the next time I am in the area.

We had a great lunch here at our second day in Williamsburg. The pancakes was so fluffy and soft,the sausage was good too they have plenty of side to choose from. The burrito is juicy and delicious ! Will come back for our next time visit.

Delaney was a delightful server, & the other staff folks were so friendly as well! It’s always more pleasant when a restaurant is very friendly towards you bringing in a service dog. (Khaleesi got some ham after we left, & she leaves an 5 star review also!). All the food was delicious! I personally liked these pancakes more than the ones at Shorty‘s. The ones at Shorty‘s are much thicker, but I really liked the consistency of these, and they gave me more fruit. I really love the quaint atmosphere here. The blues & the fireplace—so peaceful! The food also came out quick and hot! Their homemade biscuits were delicious! They also have a gluten-free menu.

My husband and I had a really good breakfast at Colonial Pancake House this morning. We both opted for the "two, two, two" which consisted of two eggs for breakfast meat, and two pancakes. I love the banana, pecan pancakes, and my husband enjoyed the blueberry pancakes that were just stuffed with blueberries. The portions were decent and we're actually more than we could eat. The coffee was pretty good too. The icing on the cake was our server. She was very sweet and attentive. Prices were reasonable.

Came from out of town looking for gluten free options. Easily THE BEST gf pancakes I’ve ever had. Fluffy, warm, and the pumpkin flavor was amazing! Service was great too!

Wonderful diner vibes, with gluten free menu, including gluten free pancakes and waffles! Essence, our server, was wonderful & knowledgeable. The pancakes came out with a Gluten Free tag. They were delicious!
